Reader Question Why do auto mechanic suck so bad? I mean, does anyone else have the same problems dealing with the mechanic like I do? They are never on time with their repairs, and they constantly try to sell me something I did not ask them to look at in the first place.

Most of the common repairs you see the mechanic for can easily be done yourself if you have a few tools and a good repair manual….so try it next time. I was able to get the best gas mileage my vehicle has ever done…just with a simple tune up and oil change.
